Patience is not my best friend.

“Patience is not my best friend” – well said and seem like I’ve been neglecting my blog for quite some time already.

 

Patience is the cure for all suffering. But I’m suffering. I’m not talking about my previous blog entry (http://www.mellsilver.com/2011/09/on-road-again.html), I’m talking about the feeling and giddiness of, well, waiting for some things. Like a kid waiting for Christmas. (And pretty much that what I’ve been waiting for – early Xmas presents).

 

For the sad part, this is a buy-yourself-christmas-present, but on the other hand, I’ll get what I wanted for. So no disappointment. Problem is, I ordered my ‘stuff’ form overseas (maybe for the thrill of ‘surprise element’ of receiving parcels) and now, like I said, I’m feeling like a kid waiting to receive Christmas presents. I keep on clicking on the tracking result, checking order details, look at the date, look at item description, check email, shopping some more, added things on my cart, budgeting, removes items, check tracking result.. and so on. Last time when I ordered things online, I don’t really bothered to check the tracking system. Eventually things will arrive at my home (or post office). This time, to take fully advantage of the tracking system, I found out it was hell test-of-patience. With the details of time and date, and location, I goes like “oh it arrives there…WTH? DELAY? yippie it is here…oh come on why so many procedures?” Note to self: Shopping on our local mall is not a bad idea after all. You also get what you want, on the spot. Heck, even shopping online from local store is faster and better. One of my items arrived without I even notices. It was there inside my mail box for a few days.

 

And look at this: ..been for one week and no update. Feel like turning into Godzilla and razes Oklahoma City.
